Teaching Philosophy
With every student, Sara hopes to cultivate a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters holistic growth as a musician and a person. She believes that the most successful students must be willing to learn and be teachable. Her desire is that students will walk away from their lessons inspired to pursue their individual creative desires and have the confidence in their abilities to obtain those ambitions.
Sara has experience working with people of all ages that have been affected by neurological and/or developmental disabilities and is wanting and willing to create opportunity for such persons to learn to make music if desired.
Lesson Pricing

Recommended for Middle Schoolers
Can be taken every other week as well.
If during a band period, shared with other lesson-takers, due to restricted time, each lesson will be 25 minutes.

If during a band period (unblocked schedule), one lesson will take the full class time. Recommended for high schoolers who are really wanting to improve their playing.

Only recommended to high-schoolers who are wanting to continue playing oboe in the future (career or recreational)
Only available for a full hour
